The UAS Toolbox™ is a suite of functions and scripts for the Matlab® environment that are tailored to the everyday analysis and simulation tasks of the Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) researcher, manufacturer or operator. The UAS Toolbox™ originates from AISC’s many years of using Matlab® and Simulink® for UAS design, flight test and simulation tasks. So, whether it is building a high fidelity flight simulator or generating data for a post-flight report or briefing, we are convinced the UAS Toolbox™ will be the best set of tools you can purchase.
The initial release of the toolbox has over 100 functions that cover the areas of aerodynamics, dynamics, navigation, sensors, communications, simulation and general utilities. We plan several updates in 2009 guided by a development road map which we will soon be available on the website. Customers are welcome to submit recommendations for functions or priorities. At a minimum, we are expecting to include GoogleEarth mapping integration, sensors, propulsion and some low fidelity simulation tools.
